The first pictures I will be sharing with you are from my trip back to Uganda. It was such a long trip! However, there were so many fun moments. For example, at the end of our first flight, Lydia and I listened to a Morgan Wallen album we found on the airplane TV; there was so much good authentic food in Dubai; and lastly, Makai asked "what's this" throughout the entire trip! Memories are always made when you travel such a long distance. One of my favorite parts of the trip, was looking out the window and seeing the world from above the clouds. Looking down on the world from an airplane window, gives you a glimpse of what God gets to look at every day. Still, this is such a tiny picture of the galaxy he's created. Psalm 19:1-2 says
"The Heavens declare the glory of God;
The skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
Night after night they procalim knowledge."
Isn't it amazing that everything God created was created simply to bring him glory and show his mgithy power. God is such an incredible artist! And it blows my mind to think he created everything with nothing but his voice.
Welcome to beautiful Uganda! The view from the airplane window was stunning. Looking out the window never gets boring when your flying over Uganda. Getting to the village was overwhelming. Adjusting takes a long time, especially after being away for two and a half years; but we're getting there. For now, I'm just soaking it all in. It's a strange mix of feeling like a tourist and yet it's all familiar. It's not easy, but nothing so rewarding comes easily.
Beautiful and well written, little sister! You're doing so well with this new blog!
